JBU Group was engaged to provide engineering and design services to support the civil design for the Batu Hijau Expansion Project.

JBU provided fully qualified and competent personnel with relevant experience to carry out design management and engineering assessments (design, and calculations of pads, drainage, access roads, and interface existing infrastructure).

Design deliverables included drawings and required documentation for the study project.

JBU Group undertook civil design and engineering for several key road infrastructure projects (heavy and light vehicle).

The projects required a structural audit of existing infrastructure as well as design and development of several conceptual models for assessment and multi-criteria analysis such that a preferred solution could be presented to key stakeholders.

South Walker Creek Mine required an extension and upgrade of the existing off-site carpark facility.

JBU undertook an options assessment and developed a conceptual model for several options. From this assessment, a preferred carpark configuration was determined and developed for detailed design.

JBU's role included data gathering and options development to provide an optimised outcome aligned with the different stakeholder and project requirements.

JBU has provided civil design and engineering services for several key infrastructure projects at Collinsville Coal Mine.

Examples include stormwater design, sediment dam design, haul road design and earthworks design.

3D modelling was completed using Civil 3D & Infraworks software and deliverables included video to facilitate internal/external stakeholder engagement.

The Appin Mine ventilation & mine access project is a proposed set of ventilation shafts required to provide adequate ventilation to the underground Appin mine.

The project includes the use of the downcast shaft as a mine entry access point. JBU has played a key role in the development of the detailed design of the civil works for the project, providing ongoing support through construction works and community engagement works.

JBU provided engineering and design services for the detailed design of the early works package for the Finnis Project BP33.

JBU's scope included civil design and documentation of the box-cut excavation, surface infrastructure (including dams, pads, stockpile areas, internal access roads and associated drainage) and construction technical support.

JBU is engaged to provide civil design for several key infrastructure components including access roads and drainage networks throughout the mine.

Scope included design work for access roads and pavement, as well as earthwork optimisation and water management.

3D rendered models were developed for client stakeholder review and communication.
